You need not have your own garden, or even any knowledge of gardening at all! You simply love all aspects, or even one for that matter, of the wondrous things in the garden.

Each month we share the experience of learning from a host of knowledgeable speakers. Presentations usually include slide shows and on occasion include items and plants for sale! Our speakers are always gracious and look forward to any questions you may have.

At our regular flower shows, we encourage you to bring in the beauty of your garden for our flower shows, or simply enjoy walking through the aisles of flowers on display. As part of our flower shows, we have a floral design section. Each show has different themes and our members really rise to the challenge! We have a novice section for those who’d like to try it out, and want each of you to give those creative juices a work-out!

Our plant sale in May is the talk of the town! So many wonderful plants are donated by the members of the Society, which gives you an excellent idea as to what grows in our area! We also have fantastic growers and garden centres in the area that give us some lovely specimens for purchase as well. Come see what they offer and remember to visit their stores as well.

The list of things we do goes on and on, and hope you are able to find something to ‘dig’ into! We hope you’ll join us!
